Sébastien Fries belongs to the group mainly practicing litigation and dispute resolution on a national and international level. He does legal research and analysis, drafts briefs, handles case management and court hearings. He handled cases involving international sanctions, debt collection and attachment, fraud, and various national and international litigation cases in civil/commercial, banking and finance, criminal and public matters. He acts before cantonal and federal authorities and courts, and takes part in proceedings before the European Court for Human Rights.
Before joining the Firm, Sébastien Fries served as scholar for the Department of Constitutional Law of Geneva University’s Faculty of Law, pursuing graduate studies in particular in public law and human rights, and sports law and fight against doping, topics of his Post Grad Diploma. Sebastien Fries is a partner of the firm since April 2016.
